The Yawkey Foundations are currently only accepting applications from previously funded organizations.

The Yawkey Foundations will consider grant requests from organizations that adhere to the Foundations' Funding Criteria. Please follow the directions below when applying for a grant from the Yawkey Foundations:

  1. Review the Yawkey Foundations' Priorities, Funding Criteria, Deadlines, and Annual Grants Report.
  2. Submit an application form, two-page narrative, program budget, 501(c)(3) tax determination letter, most recent audited financial statements, most recent form 990, board of directors listing, and list of contributors. A user-friendly copy of the application is available to download here.

  3. Mail one paper copy of the request and supporting documents to:

Please note that grant requests will not be accepted by fax or email. Do not provide any additional attachments other than the required documents. Shortly after receipt of the application form and required documents, the Yawkey Foundation will confirm receipt.

The Foundations' staff will generally review applications within 90-120 days of the category deadline and will contact the applicant soon thereafter.
