The Yawkey Foundations will consider grant requests from organizations that adhere to the Foundations' Funding Criteria. Please follow the directions below when applying for a grant from the Yawkey Foundations:

  1. Review the Yawkey Foundations' Priorities, Funding Criteria, Deadlines, and Annual Grants Report.
  2. Submit an application form, two-page narrative, program budget, 501(c)(3) tax determination letter, most recent audited financial statements, most recent 990, board of directors list, and list of contributors. A hard copy of the application is available to download here.

Please note that grant requests will not be accepted by fax or email. Do not provide any additional attachments other than the required documents. Upon receipt of the application form, and required documents, the organization will receive confirmation of receipt.

The Foundations staff will generally review application forms within 90-120 days of the category deadline and will contact the applicant soon thereafter.
